Bean Cage - Lumbar Fusion Implant System for transforaminal Application

G-SIS is made of Titanium alloy reduces CT/MRI image artefact combined with Mechanical strength and Bio-Compatibility

Indications:

  • Mechanical instability
  • Low grade spondylolisthesis 1&2
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Degenerative disc disease

Advantages:

  • Free of artifacts in MRI
    • optimal postoperative control
  • Curved design
    • for bilateral support and easy insertion
  • Unilateral steep approach
    • preservation of the contra lateral joint
  • Simple instrumentation
    • all options, less complication
  • Posterior Instrumentation
    • Not a must
    • Can be used as a stand alone device

Technique:

The implant is inserted unilaterally between the vertebral bodies through a dorsal transforminal approach with far lateral access to the neural foramina without neural manipulation. Distruction across the disc space and incertion of the cage calls for the immediate achievement of biomechanical stability followed by long-term stability from solid bony fusion. The anterior position of the Bean Cage offers a solid bilateral support of the anterior column, providing fusion path by filling both the implant and the anterior space with cancellous bone.
